How do I move my data to a new phone?
Open the baby profile (top-right icon) and tap Save backup to export a file. On your new phone, tap Restore and choose that file.

Is Weanwell medical advice?
No — it's a reference and tracking tool. Always consult your GP or health visitor about your baby's diet. See the note at the bottom of this page.

Weanwell is built to be private by design. This policy explains what the app does (and doesn't do) with your information. In short: your data stays on your device, and we don't collect it.

Information we collect

None. Weanwell does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts and no sign-up.

Information you enter

Any details you add — your baby's name, date of birth, the foods you log, ratings, allergen records, notes, and app settings — are stored locally on your device only. This information never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or to any third party.

Backups

If you use the Save backup feature, a file is created and saved wherever you choose (for example, your Files app or iCloud Drive). You control that file entirely. Weanwell has no access to it.

Analytics & tracking

Weanwell contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not use cookies or device identifiers to track you.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Weanwell may send you local reminders (for example, to keep offering allergens regularly). These are generated on your device and are not sent through any external server.

Children's privacy

Weanwell is intended for use by parents and caregivers. Because the app collects no personal data at all, no information about you or your child is ever gathered or shared.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app removes all of your data. Be sure to save a backup first if you'd like to keep your records.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
